Just so you know, they postponed my Mom's liver appointment till next Monday. The Dreaded Week of Thanksgiving. She went ballistic when they told her...she thinks that they are lying to her...maybe they are maybe they aren't...but we don't have a lot of choices here. My Mom does have a serious liver problem - but I don't think a week is going to make a huge difference. As long as she doesn't go back to drinking...and I don't think she will.
I really loathe being the voice of reason. I enjoy being unstable and dramatic....as a matter of fact someone just told me I was too sappy and too emotional.

Surely they were jesting!?!

excuse me while I go read some hallmark cards and cry openly in public.
