Crabs

Well, hello there!

My life is a slapstick comedy...with out the comedy - just the slapstick (which sounds like a naughty sexual device doesn't it?)

I almost killed my hermit crabs the other night when their heating light bulb when out and I didn't notice until much later. Poor things, frozen crab meat in a shell, but they thawed out okay. I hope.

The last crabs I had (no pun intended) died because I kept them under water when they should have been above ground occasionally....you know...like to breath or something. I remember their last days...their tiny claws moving back and forth...me thinking they were waving at me when all the time they were trying to save themselves from suffocation.

Its amazing to me that my dogs have survived this long.
