Status Critical Regarding Hamster

Okay...my hamster is definitely sick. She is listless and just lying around her cage doing nothing...but she's still breathing. I don't know what's wrong with her. It will cost $30.00 to take her to the vet...and another $20.00 for whatever medicine they give and there is no guarantee that she'll make it...what to do...what to do....I hate decisions like this....

All I can think is...if I was a hamster what would I want...I would want to live damnit! One of my co-workers told me today to let it die...that animals don't have souls.... Okay...... thanks for that tidbit of info.....I didn't want biblical advice just compassionate while remaining logical advice.

Oh well, I am spoiling the hamster now...I put her in her pink roller ball in front of the TV. It's her house tonight!
